Perched on Falmouth’s historic High Street, Star & Garter Bar & Kitchen is a relaxed yet refined place to eat and drink in the heart of Cornwall’s artisan quarter.

Join us for morning coffee and pastries, afternoons and evenings of small plates and cocktails, and our much-loved Sunday roasts — all served in the warm, characterful setting of our boutique Georgian townhouse.

Our menus are built around the seasons, making the most of the best local and regional produce and changing regularly to keep things fresh and exciting. Expect bold flavours, thoughtful cooking, and drinks designed to linger over.

A gentle note for returning guests: the former harbour-view dining room became part of our guest accommodation a few years ago, so the bar and kitchen is now centred around our beautiful street-side space. The harbour views now belong to our guest accommodation — in the bar and kitchen, it’s all about good food, good drinks, and a warm welcome.
